After a night spent in a buggy campground halfway, we made it to the coastal town of Robe, South Australia. We took a lovely walk along the coastline.

We spotted some interesting new flowering plants, even though it is fall here.

From Robe we drove north along the coast before turning west to Elliott Bay. We spent two nights in a caravan park and explores nearby.

We explored the Vixtor Harbor area, including a walk up the bluff.

Flowering plants were in bloom.

We also took a walk out to Granite Island. There is a causeway that connects the island to Victor Harbor. It is possible to take a horse drawn tram, but we opted to walk..

From Elliot Bay we continued along the peninsula to the Rapid Bay for a night. It was a lovely beach and camping under starry skies was wonderful. We hunted for the ever elusive leafy sea dragon but only found a sea star.

We continued our tour of the peninsula by visiting Second Bay, just around the corner.

zAt last it was time to head north to Adelaide…
